The MINEYE team participated in the Terravision Project Workshop and clustering event which took place on February 11th in Seville. Saman Tavakoli (NGI) project technical coordinator, Thorkild Maack Rasmussen (LULEÅ UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY) and Sara Kasmaeeyazdi (UNIVERSITY OF BOLOGNA) Work Package leaders for data compilation, exploration and environmental footprints participated and presented the progress of the work and current status of the MINEYE project.
The event covered many relevant and interesting presentations addressing activities within different aspects of the mining life cycle, including groupworks discussing the sustainability and resilience indicators. Having much in common between the participating projects, it was interesting to discuss the progress made in terms of platform development, exploration activities and fruitful discussions on many other aspects of the participating projects.
With great support and preparation from Tharsis team, MINEYE delegate visited several identified anomalous parts within the Green field Areas Of Interest (AOI) to prepare planning of the upcoming exploration campaign scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2026. The Tharsis team also organized a follow-up meeting at Tharsis’s Seville Office covering detailed discussions and planning for practical aspects of the field work.
