In addition, impact of the mining on tourism, hydrogen explorations and sustainable mining were among the discussed points. The MINEYE delegate team presented the progress of the investigations and the following steps towards explorations of the chromite at Ternove mine, in Bulqizë. The Bulqizë mayor finds the MINEYE project and its objectives of interest and relevant to the development plans of the municipality and expressed her interest in future collaborations.
During the visit, the project team also interacted with local community in Bulqizë and discussed opinions about the mining of chromite and its benefits and obstacles for the local community, but also for the economy of Albania as a significant global source of high-quality chromite.
