The Conference on Exploration and Exploitation of Critical Raw Materials: Focus on Northern Europe in Tallinn, Estonia was well attended with over 120 participants from all over Europe.
Saman Tavakoli (NGI) presented on behalf of the MINEYE project in the plenary session on New exploration techniques for Critical Raw Materials. Saman made a great impression and received engaged questions from the audience. ΜΙΝΥΕΕ WP4 leader Sara Kasmaee (UNIBO) also presented in the poster session. Moreover, the Project coordinator Sean Salazar (NGI) and WP2 leader Thorkild Rasmussen (LTU) also attended the Conference, which was a great opportunity to network.
After the Conference, Sara and Saman joined an excursion to the Arbavere Research Center and Estonian drill core archives. The event was co-organised by EGT, GTK, GEUS, BGS, University of Oulu within the EGT-TWINN project and funded through the Horizon Europe program.
