As MINEYE moves into its third year, the project continues to build momentum across Europe’s critical raw materials innovation landscape. Recent participation in several key forums including Raw Materials Week 2025 side-events highlighted MINEYE’s growing role in advancing Earth Observation-driven, multidisciplinary exploration technologies.
The project’s meeting of the General Assembly in Crete marked an important milestone, showcasing the MINEYE team’s progress at the Tharsis Mining, SO.RI.CO.M. and Norrbotten pilot sites, where integrated geological, geophysical, and remote-sensing approaches are refining potential mineral targets and supporting other parts of the mining value chain.
With new field campaigns and digital tools for mapping and monitoring mining operations ahead, MINEYE is well-positioned to support a more resilient and sustainable mining future in Europe.
