MINEYE continues to strengthen its contribution to international research on sustainable exploration of critical raw materials through active participation in leading scientific events.
As part of the IAMG 2026 – International Association for Mathematical Geosciences Conference, held in Montreal, Canada, from 23 to 28 August 2026, research activities and results developed within the European MINEYE project were presented to the international scientific community.
The presentation, delivered by Dr. Sara Kasmaeeyazdi (University of Bologna), focused on the collection and analysis of geochemical data and highlighted the potential of integrating geochemistry, advanced data analytics, and artificial intelligence to support more sustainable and efficient greenfield exploration strategies.
Participation in IAMG 2026 represents an important milestone for MINEYE, providing an opportunity to share the project’s research experience, exchange knowledge with the international geoscientific community, and further promote innovative approaches to the exploration of critical raw materials.
The event also highlighted the importance of scientific collaboration and methodological innovation in advancing the development of more sustainable exploration practices.
