The EIT RawMaterials Summit 2026: Shaping Europe’s Materials Future

The EIT RawMaterials Summit 2026 stands at the forefront of Europe’s drive to secure a resilient, sustainable, and competitive materials economy. Organized by EIT RawMaterials, the Summit brings together the full value chain, from research and innovation to industrial deployment and policy execution.

Taking place from 19–21 May 2026 at the EGG, Brussels, the Summit will convene policymakers, CEOs, innovators, investors, and researchers committed to strengthening Europe’s competitiveness in a rapidly evolving geopolitical landscape. Through curated sessions featuring policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and innovators, the Summit will tackle critical topics such as CRM financing, supply chain resilience, circularity, and disruptive technologies—areas where projects like MINEYE are already delivering tangible impact.

We are also pleased to highlight that NGI, the MINEYE project coordinator, will be part of the conversation, further strengthening the link between advanced digital innovation and the future of Europe’s raw materials sector.

Moreover, the DIGIRAW and Smart EcoMine Hub clusters are co-organising a dedicated side-event on 19 May, focused on advancing digitalisation and innovation in mining. This cross-project event offers a valuable opportunity to connect with key initiatives shaping the sector. Registration is now open here
